Sarah Ratcliffe
CEO, Better Buildings Partnership
Sarah is CEO of the BBP. Sarah has over 15 years experience advising many of the UK’s leading property investors and developers on sustainability issues. As a founding Director of Upstream (acquired by JLL in 2007), she was instrumental in establishing some of the earliest sector sustainability benchmarks including the Property Environment Group, NextGeneration and The Third Dimension. As a European Director at JLL Sarah was responsible for leading the firm’s sustainability consultancy in UK and Europe and sat on the Global Sustainability Board. In addition to various independent consultancy projects, Sarah is now a Board Director of the Sustainable Development Foundation.

Conor Storkey
Director of Sustainability, Brookfield Properties
Conor is the Director of Sustainability at Brookfield Properties, where he has led ESG initiatives across the UK office and retail park portfolio since March 2022. Conor has played a pivotal role in shaping the region’s ESG strategy and developing a 1.5-degree aligned science-based target. His responsibilities encompass the entire lifecycle of buildings, including new developments, live operational buildings, and refurbishments. With 17 years of experience in the built environment, Conor has contributed to some of the most sustainable buildings in Europe. Prior to joining Brookfield Properties, he served as the Head of Sustainability at Mace, a global consultancy and construction firm. Conor sits on the Strategy Steering Board for the Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce and actively participates in several Better Building Partnership working groups.

Matt Webster
Head of Sustainability, British Land
Matt is Head of Sustainability at British Land, with over 14 years of experience leading the integration of environmental strategy, smart building design, and health and wellbeing across the portfolio. Under his leadership, British Land has delivered innovative, data-led sustainability initiatives that align with the company's mission to create places people prefer. Collaborating closely with a wide range of stakeholders, Matt has driven consensus and awareness across the business, ensuring British Land’s assets reflect both high environmental performance and long-term resilience. His approach places sustainability at the core of building functionality, enhancing health, productivity, and the future of the built environment.
