The Managing Agents Partnership is a collaboration of the UK’s leading property managers who are committed to improving the sustainable management of commercial real estate.
It is an initiative of the Better Buildings Partnership.
Our Aim
Our aim is to provide greater clarity, transparency and standardisation around the sustainability services that managing agents should provide. In doing so, it is acknowledged that specific skills, knowledge and resources are required to effectively manage the risks and realise the opportunities around delivering sustainability. The benefits of this approach include:
- Reducing risk through proactive management;
- Greater responsiveness to existing and potential client demand;
- Developing ‘added value’ services for clients;
- Closer engagement with occupiers.

In January 2025, BBP launched its 2030 Vision, setting out an ambitious agenda for the commercial property sector and defining how BBP and its members will deliver on it.
Co-created with the BBP Board and members, Vision recognises the urgent need to tackle the sector’s biggest sustainability challenges and focuses on delivering actionable solutions, scaling best practice, and driving industry-wide transformation.
To achieve this, BBP will focus on three guiding principles:
- Amplify – extending the reach and influence of BBP’s projects to demonstrate how leadership drives market transformation.
- Embed – integrating pragmatic tools and standards into everyday decision-making.
- Pioneer – evolving our programmes to address emerging challenges and shape future priorities.
