Groundbreaking research conducted by the University of Twente and CBRE confirms the relationship between people's working environment and their health, well-being and ability to perform.
The multidisciplinary study, summarised in CBRE's report The Snowball Effect of Healthy Offices, took place over 7 months with 124 participants, using 5 research methods. These included:
- more plants on the work floor and natural space,
- circadian lighting,
- healthy alternatives to sugar and caffeine,
- mediation, yoga, powernaps and massages at work,
- less sitting down and more exercise.
